Teen Theater- Anne of Green Gables

January 18, 2025 @ 2:00 PM

Ragland’s Teen Theater program presents: Anne of Green Gables

JANUARY 18, 2025, AT 2:00 PM

Anne of Green Gables, published in 1908, is a novel by Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery. It tells the story of Anne Shirley, an imaginative and talkative orphan who is mistakenly sent to live with middle-aged siblings Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert on their farm in Avonlea, Prince Edward Island.

In partnership with Klamath County Developmental Disabilities Services (KCDDS), the Ross Ragland theater is proud to make our January 18th, 2 pm performance of Anne of Green Gables a sensory-friendly show!  A sensory-friendly show is one that provides the opportunity to enjoy a show for those with sensory issues or a disability, who normally may find the theater environment difficult.  The lights will stay up a bit, the volume will be lower, there will be fidget toys available, and the ability to enjoy the performance on screen in the lobby if they need time away from the larger theater environment.  This will be a time to enjoy the theater experience in a friendly, non-judgmental environment.

Thank you to KCDDS for providing information, fidget toys, and support to help make this happen!

Tickets start at $5

Refunds/Exchanges: Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to use your tickets to a Ross Ragland performance you may return them to the box office prior to the event and claim them as a charitable donation. Exchange privileges are reserved for Ross Ragland season ticket holders and Friends of the Ragland only. Original ticket must be presented for exchange and only RRT presented performances are valid. There is a $1.00 per ticket handling fee for each exchange.
